Pricing questions
Is this a subscription?
No. ToneLab is a one-time purchase. You own the version you buy, and every v1.x update is free.
How many computers can I install it on?
One license activates up to 2 devices — a studio machine and a laptop, for example. You can deactivate a device to move the activation elsewhere.
Which formats and systems are supported?
VST3, AU and AAX on macOS (Universal, Apple Silicon and Intel). VST3 and AAX on Windows 10 and 11. AAX builds are signed for Pro Tools.
I already own reverb, delay and distortion plugins. Why this?
Because ToneLab isn't selling you five more effects — it's selling you the routing. Each of the five lanes runs in parallel with its own EQ, so you decide exactly where in the spectrum each effect lands. Doing that with the plugins you own means five buses, five sends and five EQ instances, rebuilt on every session.
What if it doesn't work out?
Try the free demo first — every feature, no time limit, with an intermittent voiceover over the output. That's enough to know whether it belongs in your chain. If you buy and it still isn't right, see the
refund policy.
Does the sale price come back?
The Summer Sundown Sale runs through Sept 7, 2026. After that ToneLab returns to its list price of $73.99.
